How do I transfer a medical document from another provider?

You do not need to chase your current provider yourself. Our transfer tool sends the official request for you.

Step 1: Register with us

Complete the transfer form on our site. It takes about three minutes and puts your details on file. Your Hero Dispatch account is created at the same time, so there is no separate sign-up.

Step 2: Send the transfer request

Use the Medical Document Transfer Request Tool

Fill in your name, date of birth, email and current provider, then sign it. We email the request to your provider on your behalf, citing Section 287(1) of the Cannabis Regulations, which requires them to transfer your medical document without delay.

Use the exact name and email address your current provider has on file. A mismatch is the most common reason a transfer stalls.

Prefer to handle it yourself? Contact your current licensed producer and ask them to fax your medical document to Rosebud Productions Inc. at 1-833-392-1180.

Once the transfer has been processed, you can place a bridge order while your Blue Cross authorization is still in progress.
