How can I become a member?

Membership is free and there is no separate sign-up. Your account is created for you when you start one of these:

Apply for a medical document. Fill out the application and a licensed practitioner reviews it, usually within two business days.

Transfer a document you already have. Register on our transfer page, then use our transfer tool and we send the official request to your current provider for you. Once the transfer is processed you can place a bridge order.

Bring a blank document to your own practitioner. It follows the Health Canada format and is ready to complete and sign.

Once your document is in place, we submit it to Medavie Blue Cross for authorization. That step can take up to two weeks. When it clears, your orders are billed directly to Blue Cross with nothing out of pocket.
